Good Price Spring Clips

I needed more spring clips for a project and found them. I've always loved my USA made pony clips and was hesitant to buy them at first. I'm glad I did. Their quality is in no way inferior to my other clips and the price is much lower. You won't find a better spring clip than this one.

Pros
  • Clips
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Solid and strong. <edit> but already falling apart

Looks solid and strong, but the rubber-plastic pads on the handles keep slipping off. You have to glue them super. Otherwise they work great. TO EDIT. I've been wearing them for a little over a month and the plastic sleeves on the ends of the clips are torn. Metal goes through plastic. I have pony clips that are over 20 years old and all these years have never made it! I am only demoting the stars to 2 because they are only a month old and hardly used.

Pros
  • Spring clamps
Cons
  • High price

Sloppy cheeks and dangling tips

I badly needed this size to attach the wands to my beehives. A well-timed blitz deal reinforced the buy. This is a case where cheaper doesn't mean better. Jaws are sloppy. The jaws will wobble (warp) due to the rivets not being fully ground. The plastic tips are OFF. Usually the clamps are submersible and the tips are very compliant and reliable. Not on this one; they must be cast separately. Simply detaching from a surface often causes a rubber tip to twist or fall to the ground. I would not…

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Something Else
