This is just awful. Less than 3 minutes and the straw is already wet and torn to pieces. I thought this was the brand that Whole Foods uses because these straws are absolutely wonderful and last all day, but that's not possible because they fall apart before you even drink. Love it! Great replacement for plastic straws that I no longer use. They are much stronger than regular paper straws. They feel and taste different than plastic, but it was very easy to get used to. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is that they don't last as long as plastic, but that's to be expected.
