Easy to attach and use. I have used it to tune carburetors on both an old Saab and several motorcycles and scooters. I would recommend it to everyone.

Works great on our engine as described and saves us hundreds of dollars on new gear. A user replaceable battery could be used.

The unit worked the first week, then stopped working for a few days, then randomly came back with a reset screen showing the clock didn't work for a day or two and hasn't turned on since.

Worked well for about 1 minute. Now the device is frozen and shows 603 RPM. There is no reset button. And there's no user-accessible battery to remove. I did a web search and found others with the same support and no solution. Return the bad block.

I fitted one of these, an older model, to my Triumph Bonneville and it worked great as I didn't have a factory tach. When I read about the new one with faster update time, I found that it works much better. No, it's not the same as the factory one, but it's a good choice because it's affordable and doesn't require modifications for offline wiring. My old but slower, OLD still works fine. Great little pad. We use them on working 29hp Kohler Engines saws suspended under helicopters. They withstand vibration, heat and other harsh conditions. You should rename it "Mighty Tach" instead of Tiny Tach. I bought it for my 750cc motorcycle engine. and he is perfect in that element. No cables to the battery are required. Simply fix it in the middle of the steering wheel with black cable ties and wrap the signal cable around the spark plug cable according to the manual. RPM values are…
