Used for my chicks

Works great for the winter! My chickens didn't respond, but it was enough to keep them alive without confusing them with lights. The chicken coop was dark.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No instructions

Good product suitable for reptiles and amphibians

There really is no control over how hot it is on my lamp at least the couple 2 I received have lasted about 6 months now so great. My previous red bulbs blew out after a month or two, so that's good.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Functionality

Works perfectly! best in reptiles and amphibians

I use one of these heaters in my chicken coop (there is only one ancient hen) to keep the temperature a little warmer at night. I believe it does the job and is safe for the region it is in. It works great and sometimes runs 24/7 this winter so I'm happy with its durability.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Perfect heater for ball python in 20 gallon setup

I needed a new light bulb for my son's ball python aquarium. The previous one had burned out and had to be replaced. It was an incandescent night light I bought at a pet store. At first, I had a lot of trouble getting its 20-gallon tank to heat up properly and changing one bulb at a time. I buy it. Not only do they not put out the light which I didn't want to start, but they also heat! Now all I have to do is figure out what settings should be ok on my humidifier and everything will be fine.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Almost OK
