Sharp, excellent quality

The best paring knife I have ever had. For the first time I was able to cut a tomato without a serrated edge. Fits perfectly and feels good in my small hand. Spicy! Be careful.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Having problems

Not worth the money

I wanted a really sharp paring knife and this one didn't fit. Even after sharpening, it's no better than many of my others. I was disappointed to say the least.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • No form needed

spicy spicy spicy I love it.

I bought this thing and then I bought a sharpener. Love it. It's much sharper than my other knives. Universal. Made me buy a longer chef's knife from the same series. I like the balance and the weight in the hand. This handle material is luxurious.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Replacement received sent

This is one of the most expensive paring knives. The one I got had a kind of metal knot at the tip of the blade that snags on the kitchen towel and food as it dries. I never had this problem so I asked for a replacement. A new one is coming today. Let's see if the blade is smooth to the tip.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Nothing

Excellent knife, suitable for cutlery and knife accessories

Incredible knife. Actively in use for 3 months and still very sharp. I haven't had to sharpen it since I bought it. Just don't use it in the dishwasher like you would any good knife. Definitely worth the money A year later and it's still an incredible life. A knife sharpener came out for our other cutlery, and Wüsthof impressed me more than any of our Henkleys. I had no idea what reputation they had. Now I buy more

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best

Super sharp and balanced blade

AMAZON didn't have this paring knife that goes with other knives I have. And I don't think that Wüsthof is currently producing this model. I was directed to the Revain marketplace where there was a vendor with the exact knife I wanted. Using a quality knife in cooking is a great pleasure. And this knife did not disappoint. The delivery was very fast and well packaged like new unused item.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Weight

Another quality Wüsthof product

The Wüsthof Grand Prix is a well balanced, sharp double knife with a comfortable grip. The knife's steel is hard and slightly flexible, which is what you expect from a pair's knife. The Grand Prix Double Knife is a little pricey, but you know you're getting quality that will last you a lifetime. I recommend the Wüsthof Gourmet line of products if you are on a budget as Wüsthof Gourmet knives are sharp and well constructed. But if you want a perfectly crafted paring knife with a continuous shaft

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Excellent paring knife

So far I have had 3 Wüsthof paring knives: Wüsthof Grand Prix II 3 1/2" Wüsthof Gourmet 3" Wüsthof Classic 3 1/2". Of the three I would list the classic as my favorite followed by the Grand Prix and then the Gourmet which is my least favorite because it broke. Both Grand Prix and Classic are very sharp and cut through tomatoes with incredible ease. I also had Henkel's knives but the Wüsthof brand was better .The Classic feels best in the hand, I like its weight and suppleness.I chose the Grand…

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Reliability
