Cheapest Energy Regulator

I like this mppt so far. I exceeded the voltage and it damaged itself. It recovered after I removed the plate from the cable. It draws 40-50A from my 24v system and charges lifepo4 batteries. I would love to try more of their products. You seem to be reliable. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

My first MPPT charge controller and it's very good

I've been using 30A PWM regulators for years. I didn't have any real problems but I kept reading to use MPPT. I originally wanted to get 60A but decided to go with 40A for my 5 x 100W solar panels. I have another 600w solar panel so I'll probably get a second one at some point. So what did I notice compared to my other controllers? - Size/Weight - Build quality is better - Features are more numerous - Charge stability - More efficient - Location of my 12v, 24v, 48v, 60v solar panels may varyโ€ฆ

  • Great for a small house

  • Hard to say

Easy to set up menu!

A cool charge controller, of course! It's easy to set up and navigate the menu properly. In my case, the screen is good to see and read, but surely some people will have small issues with the screen resolution. Another good thing it has is an external temperature sensor to track battery temp, but it's pretty short for my setup (if it were at least 3 feet it would be great, but it's about 1 1/2). It has RS485 port but when I ask them they answer that it is not compatible with external displaysโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

The best MPPT controller I've ever had! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ฏ

I was impressed how quickly everything came and everything. Very well packaged, instructions easy to understand. It was very easy to install. This is my second purchase from this company. I have previously used a PWM charge controller and my batteries would not charge. I had a burden. This keeps the charge high even when almost double the charge. I am very happy. I really like the touch screen. This makes it very easy to know everything that is going on at a glance. Everything is there at theโ€ฆ

Easy to install Fast delivery Great product

I was impressed with how quickly it was delivered given the pandemic and all. It was packaged well and the instructions were easy to understand. It was easy to install. This is my second purchase from this company and I am very satisfied. It's VERY effective. I used to use a PWM charge controller and my batteries wouldn't charge fully when I had a load. It keeps it 100% even with almost double the load. I am very happy with the performance. I really like the touchscreen and the display. Thisโ€ฆ

Stay away from this company and charge controller!

Bought the 60A version from Revain on April 21st. Installation was easy and straightforward. First I connected up to 2 LiFePO4 12V 300Ah batteries in series at 24V. The controller continued to show 48V for the battery. Eventually I had to manually adjust the battery settings to the LiFePO4 4/8/16S setting, but didn't stay at that setting and kept going back to 48V. After a few tries, it finally stuck at the correct battery setting, reading 26.6V. Then 12 solar panels of 100W connected in 3S4Pโ€ฆ

Make the most of your available PV

WZRELB provided me this MPPT solar controller for testing in a remote outbuilding. This supports a 5000/10,000W pure sine wave inverter with a pair of Group 29 deep cycle lead-acid batteries. Due to the tree canopy in summer, direct sunlight is paramount, installing a solar panel with a less efficient PWM controller would be required a waste of time. You won't be able to get enough power out of the panel in partial shade, and you won't be able to maximize power output in direct sunlight. Iโ€ฆ
