I've been using 30A PWM regulators for years. I didn't have any real problems but I kept reading to use MPPT. I originally wanted to get 60A but decided to go with 40A for my 5 x 100W solar panels. I have another 600w solar panel so I'll probably get a second one at some point. So what did I notice compared to my other controllers? - Size/Weight - Build quality is better - Features are more numerous - Charge stability - More efficient - Location of my 12v, 24v, 48v, 60v solar panels may vary Overall I think this is a great product is. I will update this in the future if I run into any issues or anything else.
