Messy and Inefficient Pencil Sharpening

This electric pencil sharpener is not up to par for the needs of an arts and crafts enthusiast. Based on my observations, it produces quite a bit of shavings and leaves the pencils with a jagged point rather than a sharp one. While it does have a sleek design and is easy to operate the mess it creates makes it not worth the hassle. .

An artist's dream - you can draw with crayons, pastels and even charcoal - WITH PRECAUTIONS

This sharpener has completely changed my game because it only sharpens he can sharpen my colored pencils, even my pastel and charcoal pencils (!) with some care. I've tried everything from hand sharpening with an X-Acto knife to a million different hand sharpeners (including that crazy $100 hut - ugh) and nothing sharpens them as easily and consistently as this one. : This review is specifically about using this sharpener with artistic pencils, which frankly the sharpener doesn't claim to work…
