I wanted to hate her.

I wanted to hate her. But they survived during the snowmelt. Used these boards to lift a fully loaded Tacoma that was stuck in the snow. They didn't break after a few uses that day. I liked them so much that I ordered another set. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • ---

These are traction boards

not really solid enough to use but by law you have to wear them on the beach. They show slight warping from sun exposure but are in good condition and if they fall out of the truck they are easy to find (if I dig around there looking for something else).

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Great quality, you won't get stuck.

Excellent value for money. Yes, they can crack in the cold or under a large vehicle or truck. But they did a great job with my 1st gen Tacoma. If you're like me and don't want to spend $300 on Maxtrax, just buy these and stop thinking about it, they work! Just don't expect to use them as a bridge.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great option good for snow chains

Bought for my truck recovery kit and to level my 3000lb RV. Very happy with them. They are a good size and fit perfectly without being damaged or deformed after my campervan sat on one of them for 3 days. Haven't had to use them to get out of trouble yet, but they seem to have the right combination of stiffness and flex that's needed.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Good price for functional traction boards

I love the price and although I was initially hesitant they have been used a couple of times on my off road trips to the desert and remote lakes to power my 6000 lb SUV unhook sand and mud. No doubt I had to do a bit of digging and it was exhausting, but having traction boards at this price point that can unhook my full-size SUV is more than a great thing 👍

Pros
  • Shipping was very quick
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Torn on first use.

First use and cracked. Used them for the second time and there was another (smaller) tear. Both cracks formed in the snow. The MaxTrax are $300 so I have to go through a few of these to offset that cost which helps me feel good but at the same time I wish they were more durable than they were. I can't see a 'Contact Seller' button to try and get them to send me a replacement.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Many things

Shorter than other Xb but still good price

I bought these as a second set to my first X-Bull set. When they arrived I was surprised to see that they were about 10 inches shorter than my first set! Still useful and inexpensive. My first set worked fine in the snow a couple of times, and that experience showed the need for a second set. The only issue for me right now is that the two sets don't match up like they're the same length, but I can live with that.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I will write later

Torn after one use

I got these for an off road hike in Death Valley about a month ago. The first time I used them was to align my 4x4 and rooftop tent while camping on a slight incline. I placed the traction boards on the gravel and slowly drove the SUV over them. The next morning when I packed up the camp and headed out I was a little disappointed to see that they had cracks on the ends. Although technically still usable, I'm still a little sad about the weakness of the plastic.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

They didn't work at all in the snow.

I recently purchased these from Revain and was just trying to use them for the first time when I unhooked my 2WD Sprinter with almost new winter tires in a very lightly snowy parking lot in northern New Hampshire. The previously plowed, hard-packed snow had about 3 inches of fresh snow. The tires started climbing the plastic ramp easily, but each time the wheel kicked the ramp out of the back of the van. I was very gentle with the accelerator. I tried both rear wheels and several times. Every…
