Very bad for Mac in document scanners

The Mac software is outdated and will probably not be updated. Mac software does not automatically start scanning after inserting an image. The Mac software is so limited that it doesn't even have an About page. Visioneer even surpassed Logitech in the poor quality of Mac support. Not recommended for Mac users

DO NOT BUY THIS SCANNER.

The symbols used in the program are very difficult to recognize. Not user friendly at all. Xerox customer service is worse than ever and won't answer simple questions. Definitely do not recommend this scanner or anything else from Xerox. I've had several Paperport/Road Warrior scanners in the past with good results. Xerox took a good product and made it terrible.

This scanner does what it says on the tin and does it well

When I ordered it I wasn't sure how it would handle duplex scanning. I had to scan several hundred receipts and expected to feed everyone twice. nope One pass scans both sides. The accompanying software also helps to make the image as readable as possible. I can't recommend it highly enough. That would be twice as cheap.

Plenty of information for newbies and Xerox technical support will keep you waiting in silence. FYI

Lots of detailed information to absorb and if you call Xerox for help you will (with few exceptions) be in complete silence and no one will know how long you will have to wait. No helpful video found. I have no time for that. A scan revealed a black background and I've never figured out how to change it to the default white. (Black would have used a lot of ink to print.) I really liked the form that allowed you to put multiple receipts on one page. I went back and bought a refurbished Epson…

Fantastic black and white travel scanner - had some issues with color scanning

I really like this Xerox travel scanner (made by Visoneer) so we will probably buy some of these scanners for my office once we transition to a paperless environment. I really wanted to love it, but I'll get to that in a moment. I compared it with Brother RDS-720D and Epson DS-40. Brother was second only to Xerox, but Brother didn't (or couldn't) have the ability to automatically scan just by feeding in a sheet of paper.
