🚗 Aluminum Bumper Tow License Plate Mount Bracket for Porsche Cayenne 2011-2017 - Xotic Tech Review

We needed a license plate bracket that didn't allow us to drill holes in the bumper. It worked great. Highly recommended.

Ordered this as it was the cheapest towbar license plate holder just to see if it would work - it actually fits my 2004 Cayenne S. Driver's license comes with the bottom one right mounting screw mounted fairly close to the bumper and works very well. Definitely recommended for those looking for a cheaper option for the 955.

The product is excellent as it does what it is supposed to do. My reason for the 4 star rating was that 1) no matter how tight I screw it, it somehow still gets lost. The only way to tighten it is to unscrew the plate. 2) Think about placement. I made a few adjustments to the placement of the panels. My parking sensors work sporadically. It's annoying when you're driving on the freeway and all of a sudden beep beep beep.

Works well. To draw. It takes a little getting used to on the side, but no holes and complex assembly. A few points to consider. It fits into the Cayenne's towing slots because the keel is reverse-threaded. Cost me a damaged mainshaft and a reorder to find out. I also recommend getting a record. Without them, the record is pretty thin. If you or someone else kicks your foot against it, the plate will bend slightly.

Nice part that is well made and comes with all the small parts. It took me a minute or two to figure out that the threads in the bumper are left/counterclockwise. The reason for the 3 stars is that the bolt that screws into the tow hook threads in the bumper is too long for the Cayenne. Because of this, the plate sticks out uncomfortably. I cut off about 1 1/4" and redo the front threads that hold the plate mount to the stud. Also, the notch on the front needs to be reworked to accommodate the…
