Only 8 ratings when ordering - should have known better. In the description he spoke of German steel, but found no reference to its manufacture. May show when opened. The handle seemed short, but there was no way to try. Lots of options at this price, I ordered another one.

The Bad: The razor is slightly out of tolerance and you have to align the blade properly to prevent the blade from twisting which can cause cuts and burns. The razor can be tightened and holds the blade securely. The blade angle is very soft. slightly more aggressive than the Merkur 34C and provides a good close shave without shaving nicks or cuts and is forgiving of corners as long as you hold the blade properly. This is a razor with 3 screws on the handle, not a butterfly. It cannot be opened

I've tried disposable electric razors, cheap and expensive plastic razors, and more. I've always struggled with razor burn to shave off the bumps even on my legs. Turns out I don't really like the stripes they're sporting now. So this is my second safety razor and it's much better. It works great for me, 2 passes and a nice close shave. First time using it on my face and head, no cuts with a very slick razor.
