Works great, I used this for a fan switch when I converted my 2003 540i to use an electric fan. No leaks or problems. My only complaint is that the hose clamps that come with them seem cheap, but I've just bought better ones at my local hardware store.

Looks like what I need but the threads for the 1/8 NPT fitting are not fully threaded into the body. My sensor stops about 1/8 inch less than it actually is "in" the radiator hose. Is this how it's supposed to be and I'm just an idiot? Bought a 1/8" NPT tap and repair die.

As with most reviews of similar parts, the threads need some machining. For some reason Chinese carving just sucks no matter the product. Had to chase the port with a 1/8 NPT faucet. The walls are also very thin, it will be necessary to monitor them for erosion. Otherwise, $10 is cheap enough to buy two and keep one as a backup. I gave it 3 stars because of the carving - I'd happily pay $20 for a thicker walled product, don't know why they designed it with such thin walls, this part is machined
