This adapter is perfect for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler with a manual transmission. This opens the possibility for many different shift knobs.

JFC I don't know why Jeep made their rear derailleur so big but this one is the right size and if you have a smaller spindle they have adapters. for that too.

Shortened and added the useless threads from the fanatec shifter as there are more shift knob options. Very easy to install, fits like a glove even before tightening. Sleeves are not required.

Basically it was easy to get the smallest size I needed for my car but I only had to trim the sides of the hole a bit for a good fit ( the hole was round, the stem more square), it still wobbles a bit but does the job of holding my new shift knob.

i would like to start by saying that amazon says this item will not fit a 2008 mazda tribute/ford escape but it does. it fits decently and I understand all the complaints about the small screws. I don't have much faith this will last more than a year as it's cheap but for now it does the job and I was able to replace the shift knob.

I was looking through all the options to get a custom grip for my manual 2014 Jeep Wrangler and I was starting to think I was unlucky and had to do some magic with metal tubing, bolts and JB Weld. .The problem is that all other adapters are either 13.9mm or 14mm and the jeep shifter is 14.7mm. This one is 15mm. It fits perfectly and allows a 12x1.25 grip to be screwed on.

Of course there are better options, but they are at least 4 times more expensive than this adapter. It does exactly what you need. I want the bevel of the shift boot retainer to be on the other side of the set screws. The set screws are very soft and easily removed with the included Allen key, which isn't quite the right size. Most of the other options available have the same problems. One of them has a chamfer in a reasonable spot, but the male end of the adapter is too small and breaks…
