🎤 Enhanced XtremeMac MicroMemo Digital Voice Recorder for iPod nano 2G (Black) Review

I don't know if this product is compatible with newer iPods but if you have a 2nd generation iPod and need a voice recorder then look no further. did a lot of research and found that this little device is by far the best. And that's for sure. The $20 can't go wrong.

This is a great product. I have an incredibly small nano recorder. Voices and musical instruments sound very alive. The bad news is that there is a lot of noise. Not being an audio engineer, I don't know if this is inevitable or not. I use a program called Soundsoap to clean up my recordings. It would be great if this was part of the set.

My Micromemo arrived today and at first glance it's a really clear well designed product. I then connected it to my nano. Two hours have passed, Nano is blocked and does not respond to any button commands. iTunes doesn't recognize it. Apparently the only solution is to drain the iPod battery and reformat it using iTunes. That means I won't be able to use the iPod for several days if this works. Thank you Micromemo. I'll send it back tomorrow.

I bought this product and am very happy with the clear recording quality! There is no blur in the background of the sound, but the downside to this product is that it doesn't record very well from sound sources that are 10 feet or more away. The only way to fix this is to place this recorder right next to the source. Overall I find this product amazing in terms of the sound quality of the recordings.
