Pretty good as long as you don't drain your battery to 0%.

I connected it to a 24V battery. This corresponds to the inverter's input voltage range of 20.3V to 29.4V. Above 24V, the inverter can support 120VAC, but when the battery voltage drops below 24V, the output voltage will drop. At 22V from the battery the output voltage is 105VAC at a load of 500W and it starts making noise which is annoying. Depending on what I want to connect, I basically have 20% of the battery that I can't use because the voltage drops too much. Besides, it works great. I…

The conclusion is wrong, run this product. Virtually useless

The inverter is hardwired to the battery in my Chevy Silverado. First I tried running a small air compressor with a 1/2 HP motor. (450W running, 550W starting) and the inverter showed an overload. I figured it was a problem with the compressor trying to start under load as the pressure was already 100psi. Next I tried an angle grinder. It was rated at 6 amps and 120 volts (720 watts). Same result. I finally tried the 3A Oscillation tool and it finally got it to work. (360 watts). At BEST, this…

Solid inverter 2 months so far in

Got the 24V 1500 watt version. Really great so far. I use it to charge my Tesla as it can't draw more than 1440 watts at level 1. The fans work great and it does what it says on the tin. A few things to note: the input voltage cutoff is 20.5V, which will kill any battery unless you have an external cutoff. The voltage read from the inverter is constantly about 0.5 below the actual voltage. Which is good given the cutoff. The efficiency corresponds to that declared, but only for lower watts. I…
