first time user. Power Tool Parts and Accessories

My first experience with this type of bits with different bearing sizes. After finding the right bearing for the job and making a few test cuts, everything worked as expected. I'm only an occasional user so I didn't think I needed a high end product. it said. I am happy with the results so far.

Pros
  • This cutter is mainly used for processing acrylic and plastic, carbon fiber, chipboard, laminated veneer, MDF, PCB, hard surface, wood and wood composite materials.
Cons
  • will be added later

Good for DIY Suitable for cutters.

The price is right! Works perfectly! Especially if you only need it for casual DIY use. If I needed it for professional reasons, I would of course turn to Freud. Good thing, the machining is crisp, the bearing runs true and I haven't noticed any unusual heating. Of course my passes were short in winter at 40 degrees wx. Thank you happy customer!

Pros
  • V-groove bit is used for cutting deep or shallow V-grooves. The bit is great for making signs or adding decorative accents to furniture and signs.
Cons
  • Not sure

They don't last long.

I am cutting shallow grooves in a new pine board and the durability of these knives is not very good. They probably weren't that great when I bought them new, but since I cut softwood I figured they would last a long time. Smoked 5/16 after a few cuts. The 3/8 was slightly better, but the other two were fine. If you use them in hardwoods or need them for long term use I would spend more for better quality bits.

Pros
  • High quality C3 cutting edge made from fine tungsten carbide with a tungsten carbide tip for sharper cuts and less burring.
Cons
  • Slightly dented
