Yaley Multi-Colour Resin Jewellery Mould Set, Dimensions: 18.41 x 17.52 x 1.65 cm Review

I've used this a few times and love how clear and shiny the resin comes out of the mold. I didn't need any release paste for this shape, just press the back and they pop out. Can be stubborn at times but I just put it in the freezer for a few minutes and it popped out easily.

This is an excellent mold for resin casting - the casting is smooth and shiny without the need for grinding, polishing or recoating. The resin is released very easily by gently twisting the mold and then gently pressing on the back of the cabochons. The indentations are deep enough to be used for embedding items. I highly recommend this resin mold.

I think they're worth it. But beware, they will become blunt on the side that touches the mold. This is easily fixed by painting the pendant with some more resin. Also, they are very difficult to get out of shape. My thumb is still bruised from trying to push it out yesterday. If I had known that, I would have bought the release agent as well.

Works great! I used resin with no release agent. It takes a bit of effort to push them out, but lifting the edges of the resin up a bit after it's cured really helps. This allows air to get in and makes them much easier to remove. My only complaint is that some of the molds have small indentations that appear in the resin. This is not a problem if you sand them down and apply a top coat of resin.

This product was terrible. If I could go without stars, I would. I was so excited when it arrived because I couldn't wait to use it. The first time I used it I popped my resin out of the molds and there was a nipple on each piece. I could not believe it! It was also very noticeable. I haven't used it since then. I would not recommend buying this product. Rather spend a few euros more and buy a better uniform. You will be grateful you did.

The only thing I don't like is that the tip of the mold recesses stretches. Having to fill the entire recess with two-part epoxy to cover the items you put in your plastic stuff means the sides are exposed on the back. And if you're fitting them into a mug's bezel or shaping them into pendants, you'll have to trim off the flared edge, giving the finished product a less-professional look.
