Great tool at a reasonable price

Another great product from Yellow Jacket. I've used all manner of ratchet and hand torch tools and this is by far the easiest and most reliable to use. I use it at least 6 times a day and love it every time. This is a must as it is reliable and will give you the perfect flare every time as long as you don't over tighten on the flare. It pays for itself after just a few uses. Highly recommended

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Works perfectly every time, you won't find any other tool like this.

Always perfect flash. Quality tool from the USA. I have no idea why I wasted my time with old T-handle bell tools, I have three of these and I might throw them away after using the yellow jacket tool. I would like to recommend the latter for installing mini-split air conditioners, do not be bothered by poor-quality copper sockets and leaks.

  • So far, so good

Anyone who gives less than 5 stars here is most likely an idiot.

Bought after reading reviews about different types of flaring. I used copper tubing to repair an irrigation pump station. I'm not paid to say this, but: Whoever buys this will immediately feel the strength and quality of a socket tool that even I didn't expect. Usually when I buy specialty tools they always have a weak point that is frustrating. But not with that, it should probably cost another $50 or more, if it had a name on it like a bar it would probably cost $500.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Disappears

Perfect flashes every time - after watching several videos

I googled a lot before I bought this tool. A few years ago I installed a mini splitter and used a "regular" rail flare tool. Feel was maintained throughout the AC cycle, but with heat, pressure increased and flair failed. It cost me 300 to do it again and reload. My concern was to find out what protrusion was required before clamping the pipe. With this tool it has one stop - adjust the clamps to size, insert the tube into the bottom clamp and push all the way down, pull the top clamp to the…

Life Saving Tool. - Brake Flaring Tools

This thing is amazing. Easy to use on the fly. Runs very smooth with the blue nalog at the top and it's very easy to see when resistance starts. Just make sure to stop as soon as you feel resistance. The only thing I don't like is that other flash tools tend to click and not go further to avoid problems. Practice on a copper pry bar first. I overtightened my first few uses and there is a bulge in the highlight. Once I got the hang of it it was the best r410a flaring tool I had. Faster and…
