YETI Daytrip Packable Lunch Charcoal Review

I put the same ice pack I used in a cheaper pouch and even chilled the Yeti lunch bag as advertised, but the Yeti's contents were warmer and the ice pack was almost gone by lunchtime. For $80 it's ridiculous.

I bought the lunch bag hoping it would outlast my Target bags. Have I ever been impressed! It's thicker and whatever I put in it, hot or cold, stays at that temperature longer! I often drive longer than 5 hours and can now take cold water and iced coffee with me and have enough for the whole trip. I was definitely worth the extra money.

This lunch box was a big disappointment. My husband and I fight over who should use it because we both don't like it at all. It is very stiff, making it difficult to close and fold for storage. It doesn't really fold fully and stays upright during use - it's just a pain! It also shreds foods like bread and chips. waste of money.

Great lunch box. A little pricey but it's definitely well built and will do for inexpensive lunch boxes. I keep it in my work truck all day and my drinks are always stone cold, damn, almost frosty. I read some negative reviews and would say if you need a cooler, buy a cooler. This is a lunch bag for day trips, unlike a cooler. Compared to other breakfast bags, this thing is amazing.

We are happy with the 3 Yeti fridges and jars we have but this lunch bag is missing practical elements like the famous Yeti zip which really seals it like a funnel cooler and the it does not have an outside pocket which is not an efficient use of space. Put a banana bag (which will quickly rot if left in) or napkins, granola bars, etc., or any item you don't need in your lunch bag. I'm really disappointed with this Yeti Lunch Bag. I looked forward to my food staying cold all day. When I first used it it didn't last all day. Next time I prechilled the lunch bag and it worked much better. However, I have found that the bag sweats at the bottom where the ice pack is located. A bit upset. Wanted to upgrade my lunch bag for work because my old bag started getting wet on the outside so I thought I need a new one.
