Description of πŸ”§ Yikai Fiberglass Roving: Premium 164 Feet Repair Raw Materials for Laminates & Composites

It is compatible with epoxy, vinyl ester, and polyester resin systems. RECOMMENDED FOR EPOXY RESIN. Superior strength to Woven Cloth. Consumes less Resin and "Wets-Out" with little effort. May be rolled and folded. This does NOT harm the product. Folding is common in production.

Good product at best price

This is a good fabric for your fiberglass projects. The price corresponds to the amount of fabric in the set. My only complaint is that the fibers were a bit brittle. If I hadn't been very careful when cutting or pulling too hard when attaching, it would have snapped. As this was my first time with fiberglass I don't know if this is common or not.

One was a non-glass thread running down one side, a second was a pressed edge on the other side, and a third was a thin spot every 18 to 24 inches where there was an inch that had no cross weave. Laid on wood for a crisp look and the string didn't fade with the epoxy. The pressed edge didn't have a clear finish either. So to get a clean end product I had to trim both edges with scissors, losing about two inches from the edge away. width and spend a lot of…

Poor Quality Control

If you don't care about the uniformity and density of fiberglass fabrics, then this might work for you. It is a very loose and unevenly woven fabric with MANY defects. Fabric tension, missing threads, etc. The roll I received wound 3-4 inches from the end of the roll. So most of the width was practically unused. By God, the whole end of the roll was broken and dirty. It looks like the reel was on the other end and got wet at some point. I've wanted to use it for glazing remote control fenders…
