Easy entry. It would have been easier with an assistant to hold the pieces together in the final step, but with a little fiddling I was able to assemble it myself. Before installing the handle, be sure to line up the blades with the vent AND handle slot symbols to secure everything together. However, no problems with the product or the price.

The hardest part of replacing a cleaning kit is removing the old one. Our grille is on the outside, so the lever is rusted down to the bottom bar. We ended up simply cutting off the tabs on the old one, removing the handle and then attaching the new set to the grille. Easy to read instructions and kit installs in minutes. Note that the 3 wipers should be bent slightly when installing the assembly. Just gently push the assembly through the hole and they will conform to the shape of your grille.

I got my performer from an old man who has probably cooked 10,000 hamburgers on it over the years. So as other reviews have mentioned removing the old one touch is going to be the hardest part. In the end I used a big flathead screwdriver and a couple of smalls and finally got the job done. The new one fits perfectly and made good contact with the bottom of your kettle This time around the inside really good at cleaning the kettle, not a tip I've followed but would love to do.
