As many reviewers say, getting an old hamburger out seems to be the biggest challenge. We constantly fry on our Weber. The self-cleaning mechanism became increasingly difficult to use. One of the wipers ended up breaking so I took a chance and ordered this kit. After five minutes of trying to get the old one off, I took an angle grinder and cut the rod between the two loops. This made removal much easier. Then I took one of the new wipers and used it to clean the underside of the grille. It would have been nice to have a second pair of hands to push the new build, but I managed to install the new one with relative ease. There's nothing wrong with this design, it's just that this grill has been in the field for over 10 years. Highly recommended.
