Good for a cheap tent

This will do the trick if you don’t backpack much, but need a small lightweight tent for when you do. First trip out, we had some rain, and it did fine. The rain flap is tiny, but it only covers a small vent and it worked OK. The zippers are cheap and won’t hold up I’m sure, but for the low low price, this is not a bad deal at all.

Pros
  • Fantastic price on a super light tent. Quite pleased.
Cons
  • Want it for when I get a friend to stay over at my cabin very cheap made plastic is thin and cheap

Good for a playtime tent

Against my better judgement I decided to try this tent, even after reading the reviews. I thought it was really cute. It definitely isn't a two person tent, my husband and I were shoulder to shoulder. But I was buying it for myself for when I went solo, so those reviews didn't matter to me, where there were complaints of it being too small. I read that it wasn't waterproof, but if you bring a tarp you are all set, I read about putting a foot print under it as well. I did have the footprint…

Pros
  • ‎Zipper
Cons
  • Not suitable for cold weather camping

Not bad for the money.

I picked up this tent primarily for use during solo overnight camping trips in fair weather. I’ve only used it one night but it meets my expectations. It is very lightweight, at the cost of not being very durable. While I was careful to avoid damaging it, it is so thin that I would recommend keeping the duct tape handy. Additionally, there is no real rain fly to speak of. I would not plan on staying dry in anything more than light rain. I did encounter some light rain during my overnight and it

Pros
  • ‎Fiberglass
Cons
  • Not ideal for tall people

Good Value for my opinion

When I saw the price tag of this tent and the light weight, I thought it would be worth a try. I took it on a backpacking trip with my 7 year old. The light weight was awesome in the pack and it was easy to assemble when we arrived at the camp location. The only issue was that the outside tent zipper immediately broke and would not zip up. We spent a cold night at 10,000 feet in the mountains without the outside of tent being zipped up. I contacted customer services when I arrived home and they

Pros
  • Camping & Hiking
Cons
  • Difficult to pack back up into carry bag

Bought this for play, not serious camping.

I bought this for my teen to encourage her to spend some time in the backyard during Covid lock down. She didn't really take to it, but I fell in love with it! I spent the whole spring going out to it pretty much every day. It's not completely waterproof, but I worked around this but keeping my blankets and pillow in a large waterproof bag if I knew rain was in the forecast. Then after the rain I would wipe up the little water puddles with a towel. Regardless I would give it a 5 star review…

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy set up with a carry bag, ideal for Backpacking Scout Outdoor Camping Hiking Fishing in fair weather (It's a basic tent that not for rainy day.)
Cons
  • Poorly sewn seams

Less than impressed

I didn't expect a whole lot from such an inexpensive tent, but a zipper to fully close the door would be nice. There is a screen on the inside that zips all the way so at least you can keep the bugs out, but the main door itself only zips down the middle, no zipper on the bottom so no wind protection. That said it's exactly what I was wanting for an upcoming sxs camping trip. It's very lightweight and compact. I can't speak to water resistance but as other reviewers have suggested I will apply…

Pros
  • ‎1.28 Kilograms
Cons
  • Limited headroom

Very poor quality tent poles

First of all it's not waterproof at all although I wasn't expecting that really for 30$ but more importantly than anything else the tent poles are just the worst quality possible specifically the string inside that holds them all together will either snap or the knot holding it in there we'll just become undone under any amount of tensile force very cheap

Pros
  • ‎Backpacking, Camping & Hiking, Fishing, Hiking
Cons
  • Easily torn or damaged

Worth far more than I paid

Slight leak, after hours in a very long and harsh thunderstorm. Far better tent than I expected. Kept the rain off, and the bugs out in the swamps of Arkansas, when I put it together at well past midnight in no time at all. Very pleased.

Pros
  • It is incredibly easy to customize and personalize, allowing you to add your own unique touch and style to your outdoor adventure
Cons
  • Material has a strong odor

Very good for the price!

Held up pretty well on a recent 4 day backpacking trip in the wilderness. Made it through a rainstorm. Probably helped that we sprayed it down with waterproofing spray. It's nice and lightweight and you cant beat the price.

Pros
  • It is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly, making it perfect for beginners and experienced campers alike
Cons
  • Poor quality stitching in key areas

For ppl under 5'10

I liked the tent over all. Small,Lite weight, easy to set up. My trip ended up being in 30 degree weather. I stayed warm with small tent size. DOWNSIDE.My head area of me and sleeping bag got wet on the inside of the tent. due to me being 6' i was touching both ends of the tent. In summery, it is NOT for a person 6' tall.

Pros
  • ‎82.68 x 55.12 x 43.31 inches
Cons
  • Difficult to set up

Backpacking tent for my opinion

I absolutely love this tent! It was small, lightweight and easy to set up. It fits 2 people comfortably. Great value and tent! Buying another one for my kids pack!

Pros

Cons
  • Flimsy stakes and guylines

Condensation best in my review

Would be fine for very dry areas but I was camping in Oregon and had to wipe down the inside every morning. Otherwise a good simple tent. Fits a full size inflatable matress.

Pros
  • The tent includes a convenient vestibule, providing extra space to store your gear and keep it dry and protected
Cons
  • Not suitable for extended camping trips

Perfect For Day In the Sun

I purchased this for an all-day BBQ with family. I wanted to have a shaded area for the little ones in the family to rest and nap. I love how compact the tent is when broken down making it easy to travel with and store. Assembling the tent was easy too. I could do it on my own, but it went faster with a second person. Great buy.

Pros
  • ‎1.62 Kilograms
Cons
  • Noisy in windy conditions

very light and inexpensive. But small and not waterproof.

Update 2 years later:This tent is incredibly light. It is a small 2 person tent that weights 3.0 pounds. I later looked for a "better" backpacking tent, but have been unable to find anything lighter. The one person bivy-sacks tend to weigh slightly more than this does. Most 2 person tents are closer to 5 lbs. However, this tent is thin and not durable. It is also not very waterproof. I spray it with weatherseal before every trip. This is not a tent for extreme weather.Original A 3 lbs tent for…

Pros
  • With its lightweight design and easy-to-carry carry bag, this tent is easy to store and transport, making it perfect for those who need to travel light and have limited space
Cons
  • Awkward door placement

My grandchildren loved it!

Set three of theses tents up in my house when my grandchildren came to visit. They used the tents as their bedrooms. It worked great!

Pros
  • With its stylish design and vibrant colors, this tent is sure to attract attention and turn heads wherever you go
Cons
  • Heavy condensation buildup on interior walls

Perfect for backpacking!

This thing sets up quick, it's freaking light and the bag is so small! We love it! I did take the advice of others and use waterproofing spray on it the day I got it to make sure we had no issues. I love it!

Pros
  • The tent is made from high-quality materials, ensuring that it is durable and able to withstand the elements
Cons
  • No light or power cord access points

For in back of suv: my feedback

I put this in the back of my CRV for a road trip I took with kitties. It worked for more privacy since we stayed in a rest stop for a night. It was the smallest tent I could find and worked great. I’ll use for camping as well.

Pros
  • The tent includes multiple storage pockets, perfect for keeping your essential items organized and within easy reach
Cons
  • No room for even small camping chairs

Grand Canyon 4 day Rim to Rim Hike Approved!

When I first purchased this tent the things that appealed to me was the price and how lightweight it was. I bought it for a 4 day, 3 night rim to rim Grand Canyon hike and really didn't have high expectations. I have never put a tent up in my life so I put it together at home before the trip and it was incredibly easy to assemble. It's super lightweight and compact when rolled up into it's bag which made it perfect for backpacking. We didn't have high hopes of it being very rain proof, but we…

Pros
  • The tent is incredibly sturdy and stable, ensuring that it can withstand strong winds and other harsh weather conditions
Cons
  • Inadequate seam sealing

Great hiking tent. in my review

This was a perfect little hiking tent. I sprayed on an extra layer of waterproofing before my hike just in case. We had rain our first night on the Appalachian Trail and this little tent had 0 leaks! It’s a perfect 1man tent but 2 people could easily sleep inside. I purchased the white colored tent which glowed Iike a nightlight in the woods. I would probably pick a different color next time. Great purchase otherwise.

Pros
  • ‎GA819031
Cons
  • Poor quality zippers

More cost effective then a fancy truck bed tent

The tent fit in the bed of our truck perfectly. A queen size air mattress fit inside snuggly. It served our purpose exactly. Like other reviews mentioned it is thin but it held up in 20 mile per hour winds. My only tiny complaint is the opening at the top is not large enough to star gaze. I can not say about wet conditions but I have a feeling I’d have to put our easy up over the bed of the truck to stay dry. Well worth the monies paid .

Pros
  • The tent is waterproof, ensuring that you stay dry and comfortable even in the rain
Cons
  • No insulation for cold weather camping
