I didn't expect a whole lot from such an inexpensive tent, but a zipper to fully close the door would be nice. There is a screen on the inside that zips all the way so at least you can keep the bugs out, but the main door itself only zips down the middle, no zipper on the bottom so no wind protection. That said it's exactly what I was wanting for an upcoming sxs camping trip. It's very lightweight and compact. I can't speak to water resistance but as other reviewers have suggested I will apply waterproofing spray before using it.
