Cut counter sink screw slots up to 1" deep for common #10 & #12 wood screws. Cut a counter sink and screw slot for custom jig and fastener projects. Premium C3 micro-grain solid tungsten carbide insert welded to a hardened steel shank. For use on CNC, table mount and handheld routers. Silver induction brazing for maximum strength and durability.

Leaves a nice clean groove

This tool makes a nice clean groove for countersunk screws. The movement of the screws during expansion/contraction of timber elements is particularly important when joining parts with grain in different directions. That's exactly what this bit does.
