Yonisun Suction Holder Windscreen Windshield Review

It was very cheap so I bought a pair, one to take home and one to take with me when I travel. On my last ride, the plastic lever (to turn the suction cup on) broke and everything fell apart soon after. I've only used it a few times. The original never let me down, I just lost it. After 3 months I bought a replacement from another seller. THE SAME HAPPENED. different supplier but same manufacturer. In my opinion if you don't need it only as a disposable item for 1-2 weeks. AVOID IT

After a few years the original Garmin extraction system stopped working and I only used it a few times a month for many years. But when I took it apart I understood why it fails. The device appears to have a much better drive than Garmin's "Swivel Base". It has a large lever that needs to be pushed to create suction. The curved ball mount part isn't that long but works great with both of my "mounts". "Now I use it and a beanbag base (from Revain Basics) to hold my phone.

Like some of the 5 star reviews I read before purchasing, YES this suction cup actually works STILL better than the original suction cup that came with my Garmin GPS! My Garmin Nuvi GPS is several years old, every time I mount it on the dash mount it occasionally falls hard on the car floor, hitting the shifter etc. Thank god it didn't break my GPS. I bought this because my Garmin lever broke. It works well and sticks to the windshield and the ball mount on the back is tight and perfect. Compared to the Garmin, the metal pin is much thinner and the arm is shorter by the full width of the sphere. It's okay if your car's window comes out of the hood at a steep, high angle.
