It's terrible. The plastic is so flimsy that when you try to connect the open ends together, the folded sides buckle. You have to flex that side before even trying to close it, and then it won't actually close. The product is terrible. I bought some at the store which were $2 less for 144 and had no problems.

About 1 out of 4 fails. Most of them don't close because they are too curved, which ends up making them too big.

We used the clips together, I just attached the first balloon to the balloon's stem. In no time at all, the balloon lost most of its air. We then rotated the balloon pole and while one person held the pole under tension, the other person snapped the plastic clips open. About 1 clip out of 7 was very difficult to block so just tossed it out. If we had a lot of balloons, they would be better than tying. We'll do 5 or 10 in total, just tie the stem.
