My son was given a Big 13-14 and it turned out to be too small. He is a "normal" boy for his age but the size they send is too small. I don't think any of his 12 year old friends would fit in there.

These pants were perfect for my son's farm camp. I washed them every night and the dirt and grass stains were gone immediately. In addition, they dried very quickly. My son loved the fit and that they were still cool. He is a very tall 9 year old and they fit well.

I bought the size for 4-5 years. They can be adjusted at the waist, which I always appreciate. The material is great and light for non-winter hikes and they look great. However, I do hem the pant a full two inches for a 42 inch kid. Definitely recommend for older kids.

Unfortunately MUCH small. My child is 13 years old, 5'4", weighs about 125 pounds and has an athletic build. I originally ordered a large and returned it for a size XL (which is said to be for a 15-16 year old. It's incredibly small for him so I think we're adult sizing. 4 stars for the product itself, like it seems good 2 stars for size recommendation 3 stars average

However, be sure to look them up online. Some of them will be at your home in 2 days. but others are shipped from China or by ship on the way and have very long delivery times.

I'm always hesitant to buy clothes online but I'm very happy with these pants. I bought these for my 8 year old boy who weighs about 62 pounds and is quite tall and skinny. The pair we ordered fitted very well with little room to grow. I like that they are lightweight and that he can wear pants underneath. It's great to be able to change inner layers after a sweaty hike in cold weather. important to keep warm! I will buy this brand again when my son outgrows this pair.
