Extremely easy to use

Nano is perfect for laptops. It's small enough to be hidden without getting in the way (photo attached). Then again, there are definitely times when I accidentally touch it with my finger and it spits out a random string of characters no matter what app I'm on. Regardless, I use both FIDO U2F and TOTP and it works fine when logging into websites. . Ease of use, consistency, and greatly improved security easily outweigh the shortcomings. I can simply recommend this one!

Great device. Interesting to use.

Takes some getting used to. Unfortunately, there is no descriptive way to get started with these devices. You'll need to explore the site a bit to know what GUI tools to use. Every now and then I accidentally stumble upon it. never mind IF YOU ALREADY USE A KEYLOGGING DEVICE SUCH CARABINER, there will be problems with the anniversary. I had to disable carabiners to upgrade. I have a very long passcode that I am currently using to type and hold for 3 seconds. I love it. I've never felt safer…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

The smallness factor is good, but the material is too brittle.

Because this thing is so small there is very little to grab hold of to get it out of the USB port and I figured a keyhole might be useful to get it out so I have did it with a key ring and it broke down immediately. In my opinion it broke too easily to pull the device out of the USB port, hardly any effort needed and the thing broke anyway, that suggests it was brittle metal and that is definitely not worth it. I paid $50 for it.

Instructions for Yubiko

I advise you to put some kind of lace before plugging it into the USB port. You can still get it, but it might be difficult for some. I followed the instructions on the Yubico website. It does NOT come with instructions. When I downloaded the instructions from the Yubico website, I followed them and it was pretty easy (I installed on a Mac using "GUI" rather than the command line). So far it works great.

Easy to install, easy to use.

I use a password manager with two-factor authentication. Initially, I used the Google Authenticator app, but I got tired of taking out my phone every time I wanted to go to a webpage. After exploring other authentication mechanisms I bought the Nano and am very happy with it. It's very easy to use: when prompted by my password manager, I just touch the nano and a long string of hidden characters are "typed" into the authentication field, and voila! My only complaint is that the Nano very rarely
