This tool actually cuts watermelons into rough cubes. What they don't tell you is that it sprays juice everywhere at once. The cleaning was the worst. I got rid of it immediately. I should have sent it back but I threw away the packaging.

Given for my birthday along with a ceramic watermelon bowl. It was a great success! The tool is well made and cuts the melon accurately. The whole process took only a few minutes and was easy to use. Tip: Works best with pitted melons.

It worked well it just seemed to me it cut my watermelon into a million chunks instead of decent chunks. Half were squares, half were chips. It also seemed to squirt unless you were moving very slowly, which was messy and not worth it for me. I was hoping for a clean simple solution, but just get on with the knife.

This is a very useful tool. I recommend it to everyone. This shortens the time considerably. The only is. It's a bit messy because instead of cutting the watermelon, you stick a tool in it to pierce it. So make sure you do this over the sink or put a towel or whatever on the bottom of the watermelon to keep track of all the juice that comes out as you cut it.

I used this watermelon slicer I bought the day before. This worked great, although I think it's easier to get started if you start with half a watermelon like they recommend. I had a quarter of a watermelon, so I had to start with the pointed part of the watermelon. Using this tool was definitely faster than slicing a melon with a knife. Seriously where has this been all my life?! (37 years old) This has to be the best and easiest watermelon cutting tool! I saw this ad on today's show. I watch this show religiously but have never bought anything from the steals and bargains I believe are mentioned. I'm glad I bought it. That changes life! I have fibromyalgia, which means I have severe pain in every joint in my body, including my hands and wrists. This tool requires you to put some effort or strength into it. It just slipped by!
