I used this watermelon slicer I bought the day before. This worked great, although I think it's easier to get started if you start with half a watermelon like they recommend. I had a quarter of a watermelon, so I had to start with the pointed part of the watermelon. Using this tool was definitely faster than slicing a melon with a knife. One reviewer warned that the melon is sliced rather than chunked. I like the size of the pieces/slices cut with this tool. This makes eating easier and creates more bites. It was easy to clean and this particular product came with two extra tools. It was easy to use and cleaning was a breeze.
