This is exactly what I intended. Dual coax signal to DAC and split RCA to two heqdphone amps. Works perfectly. If you want to use them for the Schiit Modi DAC, they fit great without tilting the DAC forward. They won't fit straight up, but at a slight angle they will be flush. Happy with them.

These splitters helped me a lot out of my predicament; In local stores the price is much higher and then you can find it. I am very happy to see that we are still able to purchase this item as all the upgrades and new hardware make it difficult to keep the current electronics working. Many answers list problems with their connections, but I haven't encountered the same problem. Maybe lucky, but for now I'm happy.

I bought these to split videos from a DVD player and VCR when I watch them and transfer them to a flash drive. That does not work. I have sound but no picture. I don't know if these are cheap components or if the signal from the player just isn't strong enough. I'm pretty sure my player puts out as much power as any other typical video device, so I think it's false advertising stating that the video will be shared if power/strength is the issue. Either way it doesn't work.

The outer diameter of the connector socket is smaller than traditional RCA connectors, leaving a loose connection that can be easily disconnected. I gave 4 stars because one of the 4 RCA Y adapters failed quality control. The other 3 worked fine and as intended.
