I have a houdini for a cat and it has escaped this harness twice but both times it got tangled in the bushes and struggled to get out. She doesn't have a leash and we tie her to a long leash in the backyard where I can keep a good eye on her, but this harness seems pretty safe. She's had it for months and like I said she's only escaped twice! It is very good for her!
