Yukon 1541H alloy rear axle for GM 8.2" with length of 29-7/8" and 28 splines axle shaft for use with Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac. Yukon 1541H alloy axles offer a strength increase over stock while retaining a low cost. Yukon 1541H alloy rear axles come with a ten year warranty against manufacturing defects. Long splines can be chopped off.

"Excellent Differential Upgrade

Yukon Gear's differential upgrade greatly improved my automotive performance. The added durability and strength have improved my car's handling and power. Although the installation process was a bit difficult, the end result was worth it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their drive train.

Suitable for the rear of the 68 Pontiac. No problems and well made.

Ideal for 68firebird with standard rear. You'll need to take this to a shop that can press stock. The local parts store did it for me for very little money. No issues or mods required.

Great fit. Easy Fit

Axle was a direct replacement for a 1969 Pontiac Firebird with rear axle, bearing pressed in easily, all machined surfaces were good, had to use a spacer but no problem. As for which washer you use, it obviously depends on which bearing you're using and for which car. The length was ok so I'd say it's a good replacement for stock axles.
