This helped us a lot to measure the right amount of food needed for our diet. The design is simple and clean. It looks elegant in the kitchen, especially if you have a dark kitchen. Blue backlight makes it more beautiful and easier to read. It only has 3 buttons; Tare, on / off, unit, which makes reading easier. I bought this scale because my son is a weight lifter and needs to be very careful about what he eats. The size is perfect for not getting in the way of the counter when preparing food, yet large enough to place medium sized containers on it and still see the reading. We had no problems weighing solid or liquid products. Setting the tare weight is very easy. Place the container on the scale, press the tare button to zero the reading, then add food.

I tried weighing standard grocery bags. The difference is <5 grams. It doesn't matter for our daily home cooking. Here are the pros and cons of the product. Wait 90 seconds for the scale to turn off when you're done using it. It's not sensitive enough and you almost have to click on it to change units or tare. It's heavier than some others on the market. You must reset the settings completely to get the correct reading. Overall this is a good product but the reading part complicates things a bit. One star deducted for that.
