Very strong, the magnet sticks very well to a metal door, I think you can hang a fairly heavy object on it, but for my purposes of hanging wreaths it works Great. Won't loosen paint like plastic coated magnetic hooks when you need to move it or take it off the door.

I have a 36" (fake) ornate wreath that weighs about 5 pounds. didn't know magnets that strong existed until I looked up this one came up against.No real cons as the matte antique finish was perfect for my setup.Comes with 2 magnetic hooks, I used one on the top of the wreath and one on the bottom half Hold it in place when the doors are closed.

Nice little magnet. Hang some wreaths on my door, although the instructions said to use a credit card to withdraw the surface, it was even difficult to do so. This hook currently holds a wreath of about 4 pounds with ease. For Christmas I'm going to hang my big candle wreath, which weighs more than twice as much, on this hook and to be honest I don't see a problem with this hook. Highly recommended and the value is perfect.

Just buy it. This thing is SUPER strong. I'm not a fan of wreath hangers because as flimsy as they are, they ruin the paint and top of my door. Another thing I hate is that the wreaths on it are pretty flexible and every time you close the door they take in some air and slam against the door. On the other hand, it's amazing! I had to use both hangers to attach a decoration to the glass portion of the storm door. You simply press a decorative tin bucket 12x12x3 with flowers in it onto the glass. No slips after a week, even on very wet days. They would probably work independently for the same purpose if I also had a metal door. Written instructions for gluing in a credit card to separate apply even if there is glass in between. But I would be wary of using a credit card in case the powerful magnets mess up the…
