The product fully corresponds to the description. Opens easily enough for my 3 year old to use with no problems and closes with no leaks! how!

I would love to wash them in the dishwasher but since my 3 year old loves them and only uses them for water, washing his hands once a week isn't so bad!

This item was scratched and looked used. Not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher - as it is a children's cup. Unfortunately it melted after one wash in the dishwasher.

Only a month of fairly infrequent use. Wash your hands. The patterns began to peel off. The lid is not big. It seems to close fine, but opens by itself. Not a very reliable seal. Never.

I bought two of these. The first melted in the boat on a hot day and then continued to deform and shrink in the dishwasher. The second one also melted/deformed/shrunk in the dishwasher. I hate washing my hands so I try to only buy things that can be washed in the dishwasher. I wouldn't buy them if you hate washing your hands too.
