I bought one of these 2.5 years ago and used it to replace my outdoor entrance lighting. Did everything the manufacturers say. In addition, it is very bright and can be used as a light source or simply as an insect screen with the push of a button. I just bought 4 more, one for each entrance and two for gifts.

I replaced one of my balcony bulbs with one of these as soon as I received it. This particular balcony has a known problem with flying insects - when I play music at night I see bugs flying around. But in the morning I look at the device and there is not a single beetle carcass. I have doubts that this lightbulb is effective. But the decision has not yet been made. UPDATE: Thing works fine. I have to admit I was skeptical about this, but I needed to do something about those pesky insects that were preventing me from enjoying my outdoor patio or porch.
