I like this skirt, I'm a woman of average height, just above average. I wear it below my bust line and it fits perfectly around my ankles. It's cute and soft, my only "complaint" is that part of the elastic on the waistband is sewn in a specific way. Good for keeping the elastic straight for the most part, but if it twists inside the waist of the skirt you'll need to move it back in a specific way. It's not scary, useful actually, but a bit cumbersome. I still love the skirt!

I love the fabric and design of this skirt. It's nice compared to others I've bought. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's too long. I'm 5ft 7in and 190lbs. I usually wear a size 12 which should be large based on measurements. So I chose this size only to find that it was too long. I wanted to like this but it fell short in a number of ways. At first I didn't like the fabric: nylon, quite sticky, embossed under a buffalo's skin. It looked pretty cheap, although it was a decent weight, not too flimsy. The fit was ok and as expected, although not very flattering for my pear shape. Gorgeous skirt. That's convenient. Pretty pleats on the front. Has pockets on both sides! Although the pockets don't look strong. I'd happily put a napkin or mint in it, but not something like my cell phone. It's made of a thin material that's perfect for me as I live in a warmer climate. This is a very beautiful skirt. But it works really great. I'm comfortable in a large (apple shaped) but based on some reviews I ordered a very large just in case. I could probably get away with a cozy environment. I need this for the Christmas cantata next weekend otherwise I will return it for a smaller size.
