good for 2 inch hitch but if you plan to use it for anything other than a light trailer for a short period of time you will need to go into a bracket for the Towbar mount invest stabilizer.

Heavy Duty Towbar Extension; But the purpose of this purchase was to replace another hitch extender I had that also didn't work with the tensioner. I solved the problem by drilling a new hole for the clutch pin.

Purchased 1 day late delivery, box opened, box opened, locking pin missing. it appears to have been deliberately opened with a utility knife or a knife from which the locking pin has been removed. The extension seems to work.

Not the best quality. The clutch tolerances are not very good. The clutch wobbles because it is loose. I would not recommend this product. You should spend a little more and get a good quality Reese extension cord. Bought one local and it has very tight tolerances with no hesitation.

This hitch extender works well with the hitch extender I have installed behind the rear of my car so I can use my bike rack. I don't leave it on as it pops out just far enough that I could accidentally bump into it while driving behind my car. But overall I'm satisfied.

I used it to extend the luggage rack to attach the receiver to my RV bumper. sturdy, I would use it with a small utility trailer but nothing super heavy like the camper itself. It wobbles a bit but I bought a brace to fix that.

I would not recommend this. Due to the fact that the holes were drilled, all kinds of birds stayed inside the receiver. I can't push the pin through because there are so many rough pieces of metal inside. All need some sort of filing and then repainting as all the metal is exposed. Just a very poor manufacturing process.

Used to extend the hitch on EZ-GO golf carts. I placed the cargo crate in the back and when towing a trailer I could hit the crate on a turn. This solved the problem. There are two things though: first, it was supposed to come with a hitch pin and it didn't, but Revain fixed it very quickly. Second, the rear end was too low for a golf cart hitch. I had to use a cutting tool to remove 3/4" to make the hole fit. The extension is very durable and I would definitely use it on my truck if needed.

I bought this to use with a bike rack on a Jeep with a 2" hitch. The bike carrier requires a hitch clamp with pin and clip closure. I've bought a total of 4 brands of 7" hitch extensions at a similar price hoping to find one that will fit the hitch wrench. This is the only one that fits the hitch wrench and I would recommend it for use with a bike rack.
