I have regular 5 gallon screw top jugs. These lids work great! But these are NOT screw caps. You need to pin them over the threads. So they work, but don't expect the lid to screw on like the original lids that came with your jug. I will definitely buy more if the need arises. And if you need a lid for your pitchers so you can just flip them upside down and stand them on your water cooler, THIS IS THEM AND THEY WORK!

Used with Walmart stackable Americanmaid 3 gallon bottles. Used on the Primo water cooler. Works great and no longer splashes 1/2 gallon of water on the floor and walls when I put a new bottle on the fridge! I have sore shoulders and can't lift 5 gallon bottles. I bought some 3 gallon water bottles from Walmart but was having trouble getting to the dispenser. That was until I found these. They work great with the 3 gallon reusable water jugs I've bought: however; they don't twist. You have to push it onto the pressure bottle and then turn it. The gasket is fine, it doesn't flow, there are no problems, it just doesn't twist. But they make my life so much easier when filling my water dispenser and I recommend them.

This is nothing but cheap crap. First, they don't mess up like you're told. They need to be pressed, but don't tighten. Everything seems fine until you remove the empty bottle, leaving the moisture-tight seal - inside the chilled bottle container. I had to get some channel locks out and it was very difficult to get the cap back out. By this time the cap was so mangled that it could no longer be used. It was a waste of time and I won't even try another one - these will be back.

I have a top loading cooler and 3 jugs for it, all brands from American Maid, the cheaper ones are sold at Walmart.
