Beware of bearded ones. This comb has sharp edges and gives the impression that it is cutting the face and pulling out the hair. I compared the Zeus comb to a cheap Conairman comb (light silver comb under the Zeus comb in the photo) that I bought from Meijer. The Conairman comb is much better with smooth edges and beveled teeth. Whatever comb you choose, don't buy a Zeus comb. Your beard and face deserve better.

I needed a replacement hair comb as I lost a Diane 5 inch aluminum comb which I had for years and which unfortunately is no longer made. Decided to give it a try based on the reviews and description. It didn't work at all. It's too big and chunky, the teeth too wide and sharp - you can scratch your scalp if you're not careful. This could be a great beard comb but I can't comment as I don't have a beard. For hair, it's just useless.

I was looking for a comb that would fit in my compact 1950's metal purse. The plexiglass combs that come with the kit are too small and too short toothed to go through my hair. It's small enough to fit in but the teeth are long enough. Wide teeth are great for detangling. I use the cardboard box it came in to prevent the steel from scratching the inside of my wallet. Nice strong comb.
