Fits right but doesn't know how to attach it to what's in the car. I put the lid on but the round part is sticking out because I have no idea how to attach it permanently.

Bought these to cover the 12v cigarette adapter opening on myJackery 500 Explorer and Bluetti solar generators to prevent dust and other objects from getting into the previously enter the opened opening.

I needed some covers for a 12v socket in my RV, some 12v extension cords and a 12v splitter in my ATV. This set of 5 was a cost effective solution. They fit well and have a solid construction. Precisely!

I lost three lighters from my Harley and I don't even smoke. This allows me to keep that port closed without wasting any more money. What's even better is that I now have five of these in case one gets picked up or falls out.

My only complaint is that although they appear secure when inserted, they open after a short while. They seem useless. I can try cutting the fastening strap/ring as that could cause it to pull out, but then I'm pretty sure the plug will be lost in a jiffy while the socket is in use. Instead, it can return them.

The inner ring that holds the cap on the plug is actually too big making it unusable. The cap itself is also a bit big so it needs to be plugged into a plug which is fine because then it will hold up decently. Just be careful, in a marine application this would be a big mistake.

Have a few cars and use multiple light adapters to use GPS, rear view camera, phone chargers, etc. Some of these adapters didn't come with cases, so I bought JCMS to cover them the way it is vertical, multi-piece blocks. A few adapters will accept the caps if coated with silicone spray and pressed in, the others, including the lighter sockets on both cars, simply won't accept them as they are too big for the lighter holes.

Almost all solar chargers and small generators have a 12V socket, this socket is rarely covered. There is a serious risk of electric shock and the possibility of dust and dirt entering the outlet. This tight-fitting rubber stopper solves this problem. I used scissors to cut off the retaining ring which was easy and left no trace of the retaining ring.
