I waited a while before writing this review to make sure these lamps would last. So far the first lamp is working great! And I was very happy that all the bulbs came to my house in a damaged condition, this set of three is a great deal compared to what you pay for a bulb at the pet store.

Received the bulbs and installed them on November 4th. I use a timer for day and night light, the night light works 10 hours every night. I cleaned the bulb after installing it to remove the oil, just like a car headlight. The lightbulb blew out on November 10th - I didn't even live with that lightbulb for a full 7 nights. I ordered three, now I'll put another one in, let's see how long it lasts.

I have used lightbulbs from this brand in the past and have always been pleased with the quality and durability of their products. However, the package of bulbs I received from Revain was less than satisfactory. I installed one of these bulbs in a heater lamp that I had previously used with a bulb of the same brand and wattage and the bulb burned out almost immediately. I liked the bulbs but one broke and I bought 3 packs because I have 3 tanks that I wanted to use these bulbs as night light bulbs so now one can't be used and i'm afraid to order a bulb if it's broken. I was so excited to get them and really wish they weren't but the ones that are in one piece I love them and they work great and at just the right temperature.
