Great for small breeders, bullheads LOVE

My pinhead crickets and even old crickets love it. I soak them at least every other day, it's better to soak them daily. Safe for pinheads and moisturizes without worrying about water retention. You can cut them open to put a pillow in each bin that will stay cool.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Not sure

Extends the life of my crickets

I really like them because they are easy to clean and all. However, they are not really reusable. Crickets will poop on anything. If you're anything like me, you won't want to wash it and just throw it away 🤷🏼‍♀️However, I've found that my crickets live longer with it than with jelly. Maybe it's just me, but that's one of the reasons I'll buy them again.

Pros
  • Builds confidence

  • Not bad

The crickets didn't seem to be able to drink

I had high hopes for this product because the crickets I keep as food for my tarantulas were dying out and I thought it was a water bowl with wet cotton wool in it English To me, this bag of water gel seemed more difficult for the crickets to get water. Now I just use soaked water crystals in a shallow dish and the crickets gnaw off what they need.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Functionality

ineffective - food

I used a Flukers Cricket Dampener but liked the reusable idea. Unfortunately, they didn't stay wet and didn't provide enough water for the cricket colonies. If you buy a small batch of crickets for just one or two lizards, they may be able to provide enough moisture. But I buy a box of 1000 crickets every few weeks and these pillows dry out too quickly and get ridiculously dirty, they just weren't worth washing and reusing.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some little things

I love these water pillows!

This is the best way to keep my crickets hydrated! The original packaging is small/flat, easy to store. After soaking in water, they expand and crickets can easily suck water out of them so they can drink and not drown. No smell like other forms of cricket water/feed gel! Pillows can be rinsed to remove insects, soaked again and reused several times before needing to be thrown away. Depends on how many crickets I have and when they need to be changed! Plus, this method is a lot cheaper than…

Cricket Killer good for reptiles and amphibians

I bought several of these kits thinking they would be nice to use in a bowl instead of a sponge. The dishes were always really disgusting and had to be cleaned constantly. It turns out these pillows kill crickets. No matter how fresh the crickets are, I get my usual 50 little crickets and usually within the next day or two about half of them are dead. So I kept throwing away dead crickets. I switched to large crickets and the same thing happened. I decided to go back to the sponge in the bowl…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Good but not perfect

My crickets swarm on them like a junkie on a punch!

Have you deleted my photo? Cricket Tip - I have learned that when crickets die they release gas which is toxic to other crickets causing more deaths and they release even more gas and more crickets die. Cricket breeders don't share this information because it just means more sales to them. So if you see dead crickets in the trash can, remove them or turn on a constant flow of air to remove the gas. I finally settled on Dubia Roaches for my bearded dragon. MUCH less exoskeleton to mess with my…
