Switch installed correctly. It worked for about a month, and then it started to fail, not turning on and turning on and off by itself. I will switch to a more expensive brand.

This was a good replacement for our ceiling fan but the chain was a little short and I had to trim it down to keep the shackles from getting stuck in the nut holding the glass. The shade.

Works as expected. I used it to replace a broken switch in a Harbor Breeze fan. On my particular model, the original chain switch was soldered to a connector on the base of the lamps. I left that connection and connected that switch to the existing wires.

Easy repair for our Hunter fan/light switch. Like other reviewers, we pulled our chain out of the derailleur. I installed this new switch in less than 30 minutes. Don't forget to turn off the power to turn off the switch that drives the fan/light. This switch usually contains a hot wire.

The part is intact but the main threaded part is plastic while the original was metal. This is a problem as the entire weight of my fan's glass dome is on this part and the plastic part is at much greater risk of breakage. So far so good, but I think I'll have to replace it for peace of mind.

Perfect match for my Hunter Breeze from Lowe's. There were no wire nuts in the kit which was a little disappointing. The color was also chrome not brass as shown in the picture. It was actually perfect because the fan wire on my fan was chrome plated. Installation was a bit tricky as some parts had to be taken apart. But cheap repairs!

I bought this switch to replace my daughter's ceiling fan switch. It was the one who turned the light on and off. The replacement stood in the same place and was almost identical, with rare exceptions. The new switch had a transparent plastic body and the length of the threaded part was slightly shorter than my original. In any case, the replacement fitted perfectly, the threading was correct and long enough to work for my needs. The new switch looks solid and works as it should.
