They are hard to find in my area. I bought a box in the store, then they disappeared from the store shelf. I couldn't find them anywhere else until I thought Amazon would have them in liters and gallons. and that too at a good price. don't fiddle with press bands. just zip. works perfectly. I use them to freeze food.

I've used these freezer bags quite a bit. The zipper is easy to open and close and the pockets hold air well. Because of the thickness of the bag, my food doesn't burn in the freezer. I appreciate the blank space for bag labeling. The only thing I don't like is that the pockets are a bit wider at the bottom. This will create some creases at the bottom of the bag. When I freeze liquids to easily remove the block, the liquids get stuck in these folds. Otherwise the bags are great!

In my experience these sliders last longer and are more reliable than the larger gallons. I don't know why this is, except maybe I use the slider to open/close large bags more often than quart sized bags. However, both sizes are more secure than non-zipped models.
