Zippo: Quality never goes out of style.

Well I've had this Zippo Armored Brass lighter for about six or seven months now and carry it with me almost every day. Carrying it in the bag and handling it many times with the original polished shiny brass finish has resulted in a fine tarnished patina giving it a vintage look which is just what I like. It's really rarely used, but I like to carry it in my pocket and use it every Sunday night when I smoke my weekly cigar. Yes, I know true cigar lovers would roll their eyes at the thought ofโ€ฆ

MADE IN USA but came worn - read updates

UPDATE 3: Owned less than a month, only used 4 times. Hasn't been dropped or disassembled. Kept in a pocket in a case along with my cigar cutter. The suitcase has serious defects. See photos. UPDATE 2: Another star lowered to 3. Look at the two photos of the open lighter. One pushes the insert, the other pops it out. Over time, the bet is pushed up. I believe this is because the "click" switch gets stuck on the brass cover when opening and closing. The marks and indentations are visible in theโ€ฆ

Excellent Lighter (Polished SOLID BRASS) Reg and Thin RIPPO

I decided to return to Zippo and wanted to start replacing those I had lost over the years. Namely this polished model stamped "Solid Brass". It's beautiful, and clicks just as cleanly and shines just as nicely as my 90's original. I don't know who has my old one but you can keep it lol. I won't lose it I like polished brass because it "ages" with use. It starts out as a gleaming golden mirror and becomes "perfect" years later. The only difference I can tell is that the "Solid Brass" stampโ€ฆ
