🔍 Black Small Zoeller 30-0238 Inline Check Valve Review

It's nice that it's small and compact but I used it on a two piece sink (kitchen) and when I plugged everything in it leaked because it didn't work. a small hole for tears, it didn't serve my purpose and I threw it away.

Excellent check valve. Very easy to install. Simply screw into the 1.5" hole of the pump and mount the PVC connector on the other side. Tighten the clamps with a screwdriver. No noise. It has a drain hole so there is no stagnant water left in the drain line.

Works as intended. You simply screw it into the drain pump, insert the tube into the other end and tighten the clamps on the tube. Now everything is ready. The sump pump is literally right under my bed and the old valve we had for it could have slammed really hard. After that a broker got this to replace him and we are so happy. When the damper closes, it makes almost no noise. Now I don't wake up with the thought of the house falling on me. giggle

Zoeller Check Valve 30-0238 is just what I needed. This is a very compact and simple design that screws directly into the 1 1/2 inch drain pump outlet. It is a better design than similar valves sold in hardware stores and large stores. Unfortunately the picture shown (long white valve assembly) is not the Zoeller 30-0238 valve. The valve shown appears to be a Zoeller 30-0040 valve, which is also a good valve, although not the model I wanted. By the way, it took me a few phone calls to sort this
